Kate Goldsworthy - ReSurfaced

Kate's first degree was a BDes in Printed Textile Design from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (1996), followed by MA Textile Futures at Central St Martins (2000). She worked for 5 years as a freelance designer in commercial print studios and for Line, a textile consultancy specialising in product development, trend analysis and industry research.
In 2005 she applied for a PhD scholarship funded by the AHRC, and based at Chelsea College of Art & Design within the Textiles Environmental Design (TED) Research Unit (http://www.tedresearch.net). The PhD is part of a bigger project, Ever and Again, and has provided a support network in addition to her team of supervisors.
