Richard Bonser

Richard Bonser joined the Centre for Biomimetics at Reading University as lecturer in 2002, his main area of research is grasping an understanding of the mechanical design of organisms.   Richard's background is in organismal biology, having read Zoology as his first degree followed by a Ph.D. at the University of Bristol. He proceeded to work in postdoctoral positions at Bristol, Manchester and Oxford before taking up a post as a project leader at Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Silsoe Research Institute.
